Classic nappies have side tapes that allow them to be fully opened and fastened. This is convenient when you want to quickly change a wet nappy without removing baby's trousers and shoes.

Nappy pants, on the other hand, have a single, all-around elastic and flexible waistband, and they are removed by simply tearing the sides of the nappy, making re-fastening impossible. These are useful for building confidence during potty training, as they will allow your little one to use them like regular underwear and learn to use the potty without any help from parents. In addition, parents of very active children often opt for nappy pants from a younger age, as they can be simple and easy to put on.
