From birth up to a height of 83 cm (approximately 15 months), the Avan infant carrier can only be used rear-facing. It can be quickly and easily clicked onto the Avan / Kio base or secured with the vehicle's seat belt. You can use the Kio car seat for your baby from a height of 60 cm (approximately 3 months) or, with the additionally available newborn insert, even from birth. We recommend using the Kio car seat rear-facing for as long as possible - if possible up to a height of 105 cm or approximately 4 years. Once your little one reaches 16 months of age, you can use the car seat forward-facing. For safe journeys - regardless of distance.
