Moulin Roty Vehicles Peg Puzzle 9 wooden pieces, +12 months

The Moulin Roty Vehicles peg puzzle brings the colorful world of the Les Popipop collection onto a sturdy wooden base. It is the little ones' first great foray into the world of transportation, whether they roll on wheels, fly through the air, or float on water. The child is invited to match the 9 pieces illustrated with cars, trucks, planes, boats, and many others, all driven by the cheerful and expressive characters of the collection.

The characters accompanying the game are the lion, the elephant, the koala, and their friends—a friendly universe that makes discovering vehicles more engaging. The generous knobs on each piece are specially designed for small hands, making it easy to grasp, match, and remove each piece. Thus, even the youngest children can maneuver the pieces with ease and repeat the game as many times as they wish.

The puzzle fosters patience and concentration, as each correctly matched piece brings a small sense of satisfaction and motivates the child to continue playing. At the same time, it introduces notions of sorting and matching, the foundation for logical and early mathematical thinking. Step by step, the child learns how to organize shapes and images on the wooden base.

By grasping and matching the pegged pieces, the toy develops fine motor skills and trains the small muscles of the hand, preparing the child for writing. Furthermore, it stimulates vocabulary and knowledge, as the child learns the names of the vehicles and associates the images with the real world. The product is made of wood and manufactured by Moulin Roty in France.
