SPECTRA direct-connect breast milk storage bags are designed for the comfort of both mother and baby. They connect directly to the Spectra pump flange, allowing you to collect milk straight into them without the need to transfer it from one container to another. They are easy to use and pre-sterilized, ready to use right out of the box.

These same bags can be used for collection, storage, and feeding, making them ideal for use in maternity hospitals, including for colostrum collection. Mothers using the pump at work can use them without needing to change or wash bottles. Their design allows them to stand upright, taking up less space in the fridge or freezer, while the cap ensures an airtight seal that minimizes exposure to air.

The bags feature graduations, so you will know at a glance how much milk they contain. For freezer storage, fill about 2/3 of their capacity (approx. 140 ml). They are equipped with a temperature sensor: when the bag is submerged in hot water (below 55 degrees Celsius), the strip at the bottom turns white, and when the milk reaches the optimal temperature (approx. 40 degrees Celsius), the strip turns red. Do not put the bags in the microwave and do not boil them: warm the milk using warm water. Before use, ensure your hands are clean.

For thawing, place the bag in a container with water at a maximum of 55°C, and when the milk reaches approximately 40°C, attach the teat and feed the baby directly or transfer the milk into a bottle. Always keep the bag closed with the cap and note the date and time on the storage bag. After thawing, breast milk can be stored in the fridge for 24 hours and must not be refrozen. Do not add milk to a bag that already contains stored milk. For transport, use a cooler bag. This product is only compatible with Spectra flanges and can be used with the direct-connect storage bags without an included connector, sold separately.

Storage instructions:

1. Always keep the bag closed with the cap.
2. It is recommended to note the date and time on the storage bag.
