Egmont Toys Sewing boards with laces 6 cardboard boards for children from 3 years old

Egmont Toys Lacing Boards is a dexterity game that introduces children to their first sewing exercises in a safe and enjoyable way. The set contains 6 illustrated thick cardboard boards, each depicting a scene with animals ready to be completed point by point. A bear prepares the scenery for a birthday, and a little mouse dances in the rain, with each stitch advancing the story illustrated on the boards.

Children aged 3 and up thread the string through the pre-punched holes in the cardboard without the risk of pricking themselves, as the included needle is made of plastic. This calm activity develops patience, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail as the images gradually take shape, point by point. In the end, the small, slightly imperfect creations become a source of pride that can be displayed on a shelf.

The set consists of 6 cardboard boards, 1 plastic needle, and a string, everything necessary for the little one to start sewing their favorite scenes. Each board functions as a small story, and the child chooses the order in which to complete the holes, following the outline of the animals and the scenery. The thick cardboard withstands repeated manipulation of the thread, and the string is long enough to cover the entire scene.

Made of thick cardboard by Egmont Toys in Belgium. It is a suitable choice for quiet activities at home or at preschool, where children can work at their own pace.
