Learning Resources Beaker Creatures Whirling Wave Volcano 5-9 years science experiments

Learning Resources Beaker Creatures - Whirling Wave Volcano is a fun way to introduce children to the world of chemical reactions and science through hands-on experiments that can be done both at home and at school. The set is part of the Beaker Creatures range and turns play into a little scientific adventure, where each capsule hides a surprise. Children drop a mystery capsule into the volcano, add water, and watch as the capsule dissolves to reveal a cute figurine.

In addition to the surprise figurine, the set shows little ones how a volcano erupts when combining vinegar with baking soda, a classic reaction they can observe firsthand. The fizzing capsule includes a color-changing figurine, and the classification card helps the child identify exactly which figurine they have discovered. The contents of the capsule may vary, which keeps curiosity alive from one experiment to the next.

The English-language instruction guide leads children through 5 different experiments. For these experiments, you will need additional water, vinegar, baking soda, and food coloring, which are not included in the set. Thus, the set becomes a starting point for more at-home laboratory activities, suitable for the recommended age of 5-9 years.

The set contains substances that may cause allergic reactions, so it is important to avoid contact with eyes and wash hands thoroughly after each experiment.
