Learning Resources Volcano Eruption Model, science experiment set 6 - 10 years

The Learning Resources volcanic eruption model helps children understand science through play. Gather your friends, amaze them with this fascinating erupting volcano, and surprise them with everything you have learned about volcanoes. It is a set designed for students who want to discover how a volcano works in a practical and fun way.

One half of the volcano is labeled so the student can understand the component parts of an erupting volcano, while on the other half they can practice the knowledge they have acquired. Thus, the child learns the component parts first, then checks how well they have retained them, turning every eruption into a science lesson.

The set includes a container to prepare the lava, a 33 cm tray to avoid making a mess, and a detachable tube for easier cleaning. This removable tube makes cleanup much simpler after each experiment, and the 33 cm tray protects the work surface from spills.

The set also contains a manual with all the information you need to make the volcano erupt, as well as a glossary of terms and other concepts you should know about volcanoes. The recommended age is 6 - 10 years.
