Learning Resources Practical Math Number Frames Tray Set, 5 years+ for counting and addition

The Practical Mathematics set from Learning Resources includes trays with frames that help students visualize essential mathematical concepts, including counting, number patterns, and making 10 or more. By manipulating counters on the frames, children build basic math skills through hands-on learning, directly with objects they can touch and arrange.

The trays can be connected to each other, allowing students to create different sizes and use them together with the 150 included counters. The set contains 5 connectable 5-frame trays to create a 5x5 array and 10 connectable 10-frame trays, offering flexibility in how activities are organized.

Teachers can use this material to help students deepen their understanding of a variety of mathematical concepts, including counting, multiples of 5 and 10, number relationships, addition and subtraction, and more. The material allows children to explore the links between numbers in a concrete and visual way, supporting the transition from manipulation to abstract calculation.

The set is suitable for individual work or small groups, making it useful both in the classroom and at home. The size of the 10-frame tray is 16 x 6.5 cm, and the packaging measures 25.7 x 17.8 x 5.1 cm. The set also includes an activity guide in English, which offers teachers and parents exercise ideas for the various concepts covered.
