Fischertechnik STEM Mechanics Principles Kit 243 plastic pieces +8 years

The Fischertechnik STEM Mechanics Principles kit invites children to enter the world of mechanics and discover basic concepts through play. The set answers elementary questions such as how a hammer drill works, how to build a clock gear, or what a planetary gear is used for. Through direct experimentation, the child understands the principles underlying the mechanisms around them.

The set contains 243 pieces and assembly instructions to build 12 different, complex, and original models. Each model illustrates a distinct mechanical principle, and the child can rebuild and combine the constructions to explore even more variations. Discovering the basics of technology is thus done through play, step by step.

The product is made of plastic. Adult supervision is recommended while the child is playing to ensure safety throughout the construction activity.

Before use, read the instructions, follow them, and keep them for future reference. The kit is produced in Germany by Fischertechnik and falls into the Science and Experiments (STEM) category, being suitable for children between the recommended ages of 6 and 12 who want to understand how mechanisms work. The 12 models offer continuity in learning, from simple constructions to more complex gears, supporting the child's curiosity and patience.
