Thames & Kosmos STEM Kit The Big Detective Kit, 8+ years, over 30 investigation tools

The Thames & Kosmos STEM Master Detective kit invites children to step into the shoes of a real detective with the Master Detective – Spy Labs set from Kosmos. The kit gathers over 30 forensic-inspired investigation tools, including a magnifying glass, a UV light, fingerprint powder, and invisible ink, all ready for action as soon as the box is opened.

With these tools, children collect real evidence, analyze fingerprints, discover secret messages, and solve cases step by step. Each stage is guided by an illustrated manual of over 30 pages, which combines experiments with case-style stories so that little investigators can understand the logic behind each discovery and progress from one mystery to the next.

The kit includes approximately 25 experiments in a single compact box measuring 12 × 16 × 5.5 cm, which is easy to transport and store. The materials used are cardboard and plastic, and the light requires one AAA battery to function, which is not included in the package. Thus, parents can prepare the necessary battery in advance of the first investigation session.

The product is manufactured in Germany by Kosmos and is aimed at children aged 8 and up, with recommended age ranges of 6–9 years and 9–12 years. It is recommended to read the instructions before use, follow them, and keep them for later reference throughout the duration of using the kit.
