Gigo Toys STEM Kit Gecko climbing robot 8 years+ plastic

The Gigo Toys Gecko robot STEM kit brings the fascinating world of robotics and biomimetics to children. This articulated robot mimics the movements of a real gecko, climbing windows or other smooth surfaces thanks to patented suction cups. The child assembles the robot themselves from the included components and discovers how air pressure, mechanics, and electrical circuits work in an engaging and accessible way.

The robot uses a reciprocal leg movement system and a movable tail that moves realistically while climbing. In the box, you will find 96 mechanical components to assemble the robot's body, a vacuum pump system, an electric motor and battery compartment, gears and joints that mimic the natural movement of the legs, as well as a detailed instruction manual with step-by-step illustrations.

Through assembly and play, the child develops logical and technical thinking, becomes familiar with STEM concepts from science, technology, and engineering, stimulates their curiosity and desire to experiment, and improves their coordination and dexterity. It is an activity suitable for children passionate about construction and how things around them work.

The product is made of plastic and runs on one AAA battery, which is not included. It is manufactured in Taiwan by Genius Toy. The patented suction cups allow the robot to climb windows and other smooth surfaces, offering a spectacular result after the assembly is finished. The detailed manual guides the child step-by-step through each stage of assembly.
