Thames & Kosmos STEM Kit Chemical and electrochemical experiments 9 years+ plastic

The Thames & Kosmos STEM kit for chemical and electrochemical experiments invites children to explore the reactions between solids, liquids, and gases in a practical and safe way. The child discovers the colorful effects of acids and bases, creates effervescent and foamy reactions, and writes messages with invisible ink. It is a set designed for those passionate about chemistry who want to understand the phenomena behind everyday experiments.

The set allows for the investigation of metals and salts through electrochemical experiments performed with a 9-volt battery, which is not included in the package. Thus, the child learns for themselves how chemistry goes beyond textbooks and laboratories to explain events that happen around us every day. Each experiment brings a new discovery and strengthens the understanding of fundamental scientific principles.

In the box, there is a color experiment manual that provides simple instructions for setting up and performing each experiment, followed by clear explanations of what happened and why. This step-by-step approach helps children work independently, but also to reflect on the results obtained. The instruction manual is included and can be downloaded separately from the product page.

The product is made of plastic. It is recommended for ages 9 and up and requires the mentioned battery for the electrochemical part. Read the instructions before use, follow them, and keep them for future reference.
