Gigo Toys STEM Kit Wind Energy and its Applications 8 years+ plastic 124 pieces

The Wind Energy and Its Applications STEM kit from Gigo Toys is a construction set that shows children how wind is transformed into useful energy. The set includes two types of wind turbine blades and a gearbox with three different transmission ratios, so that each experiment can be adjusted and repeated. Children can adjust the angle and number of turbine blades to make the best use of the wind, to make the LED shine brightly, and to charge the rechargeable battery as quickly as possible.

With the 124 included pieces, two giant wind turbines almost a meter tall can be built. The energy generated by the wind can power an LED light or recharge a battery, turning the game into a concrete demonstration of renewable energy. A step-by-step illustrated instruction manual guides the construction of the models and the conduct of the experiments, allowing the child to advance alone or together with an adult.

The set is made of plastic and requires an AA/HR06 battery, which is not included. The parts in this kit are compatible with pieces from other Gigo Toys construction sets, which allows for expanding the collection and combining models. The recommended age is 8 years and older. The product is manufactured in Taiwan by Genius Toy.

Adult supervision is recommended during play. Read the instructions before use, follow them, and keep them for reference. This kit is suitable for STEM activities at home or at school, as it combines construction, experimentation, and observation of results into a single activity that shows children how a free and renewable energy source works.
