The 28 mm premium SPECTRA kit is ideal for fast and efficient milk collection from both breasts or as a spare set for your pump. It is compatible with all Spectra Q, 9+, S2 Plus, S1 Plus, Dual Compact, and Dual S electric pump models. The set brings together all the components needed to start or continue pumping without interruptions.

The set includes a 28 mm breast shield, a tube, a valve (consumable part), a backflow protection system that prevents milk from entering the motor, a 160 ml capacity bottle with a soft newborn-flow teat, as well as a tube adapter for the Dual Compact and Dual S pumps. The protection filter is assembled by inserting the white silicone membrane into the flatter bottom cover, then fixing the more domed top cover over the membrane.

The materials are chosen for sterilization at high temperatures: the breast shield, 160 ml bottle, sealing cap, protective cap, and tube adapter are made of PP (polypropylene) plastic and withstand up to 100°C, while the valve and teat are made of silicone and withstand up to 120°C. The backflow protection filter combines PP plastic and a silicone membrane, withstanding up to 100°C or 120°C. Before first use, disassemble and wash all components that come into contact with the breast and breast milk, then sterilize by immersing in boiling water or using a steam or UV sterilizer.

Rinse with clean water and let the parts air dry, covering them when not in use. Check the tube for condensation or milk and dry it immediately or replace it if necessary. After each use

1. Measure the diameter of the nipple after a breastfeeding or pumping session.
2. After taking the measurement, add 3-5 mm. (For example, if the measured size is 20 mm, the approximate shield size will be 24 mm.)
3. If the shield size is too small, it can cause friction, pressure, pain, or even injury.
4. If the shield size is too large, the areola may be pulled into the shield tubing, which can lead to a decrease in the efficiency of the milk collection process or discomfort.
