Learning Resources Gnome Homes Sorting & Counting Game, plastic, 18 months+

The Gnomes' Homes sorting and counting game from Learning Resources was created to encourage the development of children's fine motor skills, while offering them the joy of exploring activities such as discovering gnomes hidden inside mushroom-shaped houses. The small, numbered and colored mushrooms, along with an activity guide full of interesting facts about gnomes, provide a fun and educational way for children to learn about numbers, colors, and sizes.

Each mushroom can be divided into two parts, allowing children to learn to count up to five by matching the correct pieces together. Each mushroom features a digit and a visual representation of the corresponding number, helping children make connections between symbols and quantities. The pieces can be used for both independent play and group activities, in the classroom or at home.

The set helps develop counting, matching, and sorting skills while children enjoy hours of educational fun. It is easy for little hands to assemble and disassemble, and the pieces are made from 70% recycled plastic. The set includes 5 gnomes and their 2-piece houses, plus an activity guide.
