Learning Resources Fraction Rainbow Dominoes Game 36 pieces, 6 years+, math games

The Rainbow Fraction Dominoes game from Learning Resources is an innovative and colorful way to practice and reinforce knowledge of fractions, suitable for children looking to improve their math skills in a fun way. It is ideal both for learning at home with the family and for concluding lessons with a hands-on, interactive classroom activity. The set brings a visual and practical approach to a subject that often seems abstract to little ones.

The set includes 36 double-sided domino tiles, with each piece featuring both graphically and numerically represented fractions as well as their percentage equivalents. On one side of each domino are illustrated simple fractions, accompanied by distinctive colors to facilitate visual recognition, while the other side presents the percentage equivalents, offering two different ways to play. Each piece has a unique color code, compatible with the rest of the Rainbow Fraction resources, including games such as Rainbow Fraction Bingo, to provide visual continuity and facilitate the learning process.

The game is suitable for 2 to 4 players, and the size of the pieces makes them easy to handle. The design of this set includes multilingual packaging and instructions, making it accessible to diverse communities. The game covers essential educational objectives, such as recognizing and naming simple fractions like halves and quarters, and working with equivalents in primary and middle school grades.

The rules are simple: players race to place all their dominoes on the table, matching them correctly until one of them runs out of pieces and wins the round. There are two levels of play available. The fraction level requires players to match the illustrated or written fractions to complete the domino line, while the percentage equivalence level involves matching the percentage values corresponding to the fractions.
