Educational Insights Fraction Formula Game math race for 2-4 players 8-12 years

The fraction game from Educational Insights is a race to make a whole. Players draw a card, look for the piece with the corresponding fraction, and place it into their cylinder. The rule is simple: you must not exceed a whole, so each player weighs whether to continue or stop in time.

If you don't think you can get closer to a whole, stop, but if you think you can make exactly a whole by drawing a card, continue. The player who first completes the whole wins. This is an ideal way to represent the notion of a whole and its component fractions, turning an abstract mathematical concept into a concrete and visual experience.

The set includes 4 cylinders, 52 cards, 52 pieces in various shapes (thirds, quarters, fifths, and others), 20 scorecards, and an activity guide. The pieces in different shapes help children see how fractions combine to form a whole, and the scorecards allow tracking each player's progress. It is suitable for 2-4 players, making it ideal for family play or in the classroom.
