Learning Resources Plastic Geometric Solids 10 pieces 5-9 years math games

The Learning Resources plastic geometric shapes set provides ten three-dimensional shapes that help children better understand the secrets of geometry. Each piece illustrates the relationships between area, volume, shape, and size, transforming abstract concepts into objects that the child can hold, observe, and compare. It is a suitable tool both for school lessons and home activities.

The package includes ten different shapes: cone, sphere, hemisphere, cube, cylinder, rectangular prism, triangular prism, hexagonal prism, square pyramid, and triangular pyramid. Along with the pieces, the set includes teacher's notes, which support educators in organizing activities and explanations related to each geometric shape. The pieces are approximately 8 cm tall, making them easy for small hands to handle.

The set is recommended for children aged 5 to 9. At this age, children begin to associate shapes with their mathematical properties, and concrete geometric shapes make the transition from drawing to volume much simpler. Through direct comparison between a cube and a pyramid or between a cone and a cylinder, the child understands the differences in area and volume without needing complicated calculations.

Do not leave toy packaging within reach of children and remove any packaging before giving the product to the child. Keep the instructions and labels for future reference. Keep the toy away from fire and protect it from high temperatures and humidity to keep the pieces in good condition for a long time.
