BIBS Studio Colour Flower Latex Pacifier, round nipple, 6 months+, 100% natural latex, Ivory
The BIBS Studio Colour Flower Latex Ivory pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The model is part of the Colour collection, designed for the 6-18 months size and presented in the Ivory shade.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The teat is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that adapts to the child's sucking and offers a sensation close to breastfeeding.
The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. Thus, the skin around the mouth remains ventilated during pacifier use, and direct contact is reduced.
Pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized, and pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use to remain safe and in good condition.
Since latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the teat through the valve, press the teat with the napkin until the water is removed.
