The BIBS Colour Studio Collection Holiday Train Steel 2-pack pacifier set features two pacifiers with round nipples made from latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined to create latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother’s breast, suitable for babies from 0 months old.

The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, mimicking the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes that allow for air circulation.

Proper pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or with sterilization solutions.

Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier and place it on a clean towel to air dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
