BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex - a soft, elastic material that resembles the texture of a mother's breast. The set contains 2 pacifiers with a round nipple, in the Petal/Baby Pink shade, recommended for babies from 6 to 18 months old.

The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that is pleasant against the skin. The round shape of the nipple is designed for the baby's comfort during sucking.

The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.

Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifiers must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Proper sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, squeeze the nipple with the towel until the water is expelled. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
