The BIBS Colour set includes two pacifiers made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The pacifiers have a round nipple and are recommended for babies from 0 months old, sized for the 0-6 month age range.

The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that provides comfort while sucking. The round shape of the nipple is designed to adapt to the baby's mouth at this age.

The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air to circulate around the mouth.

Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning; the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Proper sterilization involves three steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is removed. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
