Learning Resources Number Whales Sorting Set, 15-piece educational set for number matching, ages 2-6

The Number Whales set from Learning Resources is an educational toy designed to introduce matching skills to young children and later for number-to-set correspondence. Each whale encourages children to use their little hands to open it, thus developing their fine motor skills in a fun and engaging way.

The set includes 15 pieces: 5 jumbo whales with lids and 5 baby whales. Each large whale has a lid with different words or sets of elements and a baby whale inside. The number of elements or the word on the lid corresponds to the number inscribed on the baby whale inside, helping the child learn the correspondence between the number and the set.

The colors of the whales are red, orange, green, blue, and purple, which contributes to learning colors and shapes. Little ones will have fun matching the baby whale with its mother, and the set is ideal for imaginative role-play. The pieces can be used as educational materials in various activities.

The approximate size of the largest whale is 9 x 5.5 cm, and the smallest whale is approximately 5.5 x 3 cm. The pieces are packed in a cute jar for easy storage. Warning!
