Djeco Creative Workshop The Last Snowfall 6-10 years paper and cardboard, painting and collage

The "Last Snow" creative workshop by Djeco is a painting and collage activity inspired by Japanese prints, designed as an easy introduction to the ink wash technique. The set contains 4 images to decorate, which children complete by using brushes to apply a range of gray shades and create delicate landscapes. Once the paint has dried, the landscapes are finished with colorful stickers that bring contrast and life to the composition.

The proposed technique is simple and intuitive: black is diluted to obtain different shades, and small cups of different sizes help with mixing and measuring the colors. The palette includes 2 gouache paints, white and black, and the two brushes allow for working on both large surfaces and fine details. The sponge and pencil complete the kit, providing the child with everything they need for their first experiences with watercolor painting.

The kit is designed to be easy to use at home without a mess. A plastic sheet is included to protect the table, as well as an additional protective tablecloth. The ink is washable, and the storage box with an elastic closure keeps all contents organized between creative sessions. The color booklet with step-by-step instructions guides the child through each stage of the project.

The full content includes 8 boards of 15 x 20 cm, 4 models in 2 copies each, 4 sheets of decals, 3 small cups, a palette with 2 black and white gouache paints, 2 brushes, a pencil, a sponge, a protective tablecloth, and an illustrated booklet. The product is made of paper and cardboard. It is recommended for children aged 6 to 10 and was created by Djeco in France.
