Egmont Toys 10-note xylophone wooden and metal musical instrument, 3 years+

The 10-note xylophone from Egmont Toys is a percussion musical instrument consisting of a system of 10 perfectly tuned metal plates mounted on a natural wood base. The plates vibrate and emit sounds when struck with the wooden mallet, offering little ones their first experience with rhythm and melody. It is for young musicians who want to discover sounds and organize their own concert.

The combination of natural wood and metal plates gives this xylophone a pleasing appearance and a clear resonance. The wooden base supports the ten plates at equal distances, so the child can easily distinguish each note and try to reproduce small melodies. The included wooden mallet is sized for small hands and allows for precise striking of each plate.

The instrument is recommended for children over 3 years old and falls into the 3–6 and 6–9 age groups, making it suitable for both those taking their first steps in music and older children practicing simple melodies. By striking the plates, the child develops hand-eye coordination, a sense of rhythm, and attention to sound.

The xylophone is made of wood and metal. WARNING: not suitable for children under 3 years old; to be used under the close supervision of an adult. The product is manufactured by Egmont Toys in Belgium, a benchmark for children's toys. Due to its materials and simple construction, the xylophone can be used repeatedly at home or in kindergarten as part of daily musical play.
