Learning Resources STEM Simple Machines City Building Set, Ages 5-9, 80+ Pieces with 10 Challenge Cards

The Learning Resources STEM City Building set is designed specifically to complement school activities and spark little ones' interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Children first familiarize themselves with the game pieces, then use the challenge cards to create all sorts of interesting structures, or they can use their creativity to build different elements on their own.

The set contributes to the development of problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and dexterity, being ideal for introducing primary concepts of engineering and design. Little ones must conduct various investigations and record data to discover the optimal solution for each activity. The product is perfect for both individual and group play, encouraging collaboration and communication among children.

STEM sets are based on the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) curriculum, where children learn science, technology, engineering, and mathematics as a single subject. This paradigm is based on experiments with everyday elements, which help little ones easily understand various phenomena and concepts. Thus, learning becomes practical and directly linked to the surrounding world.

The set includes over 80 pieces for constructing various construction site elements (platforms, flags, cones, pylons, and others), 2 minifigures, a truck, 10 challenge cards, decorative stickers, and an activity guide in English. The approximate size of the platform is 11 x 11 cm, and the recommended age is 5 - 9 years. Attention! Do not leave packaging within reach of children and remove any packaging before giving the toy to the child. Keep the product away from fire, high temperatures, and humidity.
