Hand2Mind Area Model Math Set, base ten blocks, area representation board, ages 8+

The Hand2Mind Area Model Math Set turns math instruction into an engaging and interactive experience, specifically designed to stimulate students' visual thinking and spatial skills. It is a versatile resource that helps children develop spatial awareness, understand visual representations, and explore mathematical concepts such as area models and multiplication.

The board features movable x and y axes, and integrated factor tracks help children explore area models and multiplication strategies. In addition, the board has a write-and-wipe surface that can be used as a workspace for notes and calculations during activities.

The board offers enough space for individual or small-group activities, facilitating block manipulation and efficient exploration of area models. The board measures 31.5 x 31.5 cm, providing a generous workspace for classrooms, small groups, or home learning, and the activity guide and packaging are multilingual.

The set includes an area model board with base ten blocks: 4 large hundreds flats (10 x 10 x 1 cm), 20 tens rods (10 x 1 x 1 cm), and 100 small units cubes (1 cm x 1 cm x 1 cm). It also includes a set of black factor cubes consisting of 4 tens rods and 20 small units cubes, a dry-erase marker, and an activity guide. Warning! Contains small parts, choking hazard, not suitable for children under 3 years old.
