Djeco Zig & Go Dring construction set 25 wooden and metal pieces

The Djeco Zig & Go Dring construction set is part of a collection of sets for building fascinating chain-reaction courses. It is a wooden construction game that requires skill and careful thinking, where children position pieces carefully to create a functional path. Each movement triggers the next, and the result is a spectacular sequence of action and reaction.

Children can copy the 3 designs from the instruction booklet to build courses or create their own versions, as the possibilities are endless. All kits in this collection are compatible with each other, so the action-reaction courses can become increasingly inventive as new pieces are added. A QR code provides access to a video that shows how the mechanism works in its entirety.

The set develops three types of play. The construction game requires children to use dexterity to place the pieces and build the course. The chain-reaction game teaches them about the ingenuity and magic of movement chains. The thinking game challenges them to estimate how fast the pieces will move, with speed depending on weight, and to measure the distances between them. Thus, the child practices patience, planning, and observing cause-and-effect relationships.

The box contents include a construction set with 22 wooden pieces, 2 metal balls, and a metal bell, as well as a 16-page instruction booklet. The product is made of wood and metal. The recommended age stated by the manufacturer is 7 to 99 years, and the product is manufactured by Djeco in France.
