Our super-absorbent nappy core contains bio-based gels* and FSC® certified chlorine-free wood pulp from sustainably managed forests. The top layer, outer lining, front panels, leg cuffs, and nappy packaging are made from 100% sustainable and oxo-biodegradable materials (can naturally degrade in 3 to 6 years). Kit & Kin nappies are produced in an environmentally friendly, carbon-neutral factory.

How to dispose of our eco-nappies?
Did you know that in the UK alone, 8 million nappies are thrown away every day? Parents are becoming increasingly aware of the impact their choices can have on the environment, which is why many of them are turning to biodegradable nappies as a convenient and sustainable solution.

Our hypoallergenic nappies are made from mostly plant-based and biodegradable materials, so to ensure they decompose as quickly as possible, we recommend following these simple steps:

Make sure the used nappy is placed in a biodegradable nappy sack that allows oxygen to penetrate.
When disposing of the bag in the bin, if possible, place it outside the non-biodegradable bin bag (but still in the bin), as this will maximise exposure to oxygen.
