Learning Resources Magnetic Fraction Pizza, 24 pieces, 6-10 years, educational game

The magnetic Fraction Pizza from Learning Resources turns a math lesson into a hands-on game for the whole class. Serve up a pizza to illustrate fractions, and teachers can better explain the concepts of a whole and parts of a whole, common denominators, and multiples, using pieces that children can touch and arrange themselves.

The game is based on kinesthetic learning: by tactilely and visually manipulating the pieces, little ones can more easily understand concepts such as "half," "whole," "quarter," and "third." The pizza-shaped circles are divided into slices, so each fraction becomes visible and easy to compare, which helps introduce basic concepts in a concrete way.

The package includes 24 magnetic pieces and an activity guide that supports the teacher in structuring lessons. Each pizza piece measures 20 cm, a suitable size for demonstrations in front of the class or for table activities in small groups. The magnetic pieces can be arranged on any metal surface, such as a whiteboard, so that all children can see the examples at the same time.

Warning! This toy contains magnets or magnetic components. Magnets sticking together or attaching to a metal object inside the human body can cause serious or fatal accidents. Seek immediate medical attention if magnets are swallowed or inhaled. Do not leave packaging within the reach of children and remove all packaging before giving the toy to a child.
