Thames & Kosmos Solar Robots STEM Kit, 5 models, 123 pieces, solar energy, ages 8+

The Solar Robots STEM kit from Thames & Kosmos brings children five different robots in one captivating set. With this kit, children can build everything from a dinosaur and an android to a tank and an insect, with each robot sparking a passion for technology and green energy. The set allows little ones to discover the world of science through active play, individually or with family, and transforms curiosity into knowledge.

Each robot moves using only solar energy, thanks to the solar panel included in the kit. No batteries or cables are required, meaning the robots function exclusively with light. This makes playtime clean, simple, and safe, and shows children in a concrete way how the sun's energy can be converted into movement—a practical lesson on renewable energy.

The kit includes 5 experiments and 123 easy-to-assemble pieces, plus five robot models: walking, orbiting, trike, bug, and helio. The modular design of the pieces is intended for curious hands, so assembly becomes part of the learning process. The illustrated, color manual with clear steps guides them through each build, and the result is a functional robot that they can set in motion with light.

Recommended for children passionate about science and technology, this set supports STEM activities and the development of logical thinking. It is ideal for educational play at home, and the five experiments offer variety to keep the child engaged. The manufacturer is Thames & Kosmos, from Germany, and the set is part of the STEM collection, a series of toys that turn curiosity into knowledge through practical and accessible experiments.
