Thames & Kosmos STEM Kit Marble Run Obstacle Course Expansion Set 8 years+ plastic

The Thames & Kosmos Funnel STEM kit is an expansion for the marble run obstacle course from the Gecko Run series. With the help of the funnel, you can make the marbles spin, which not only adds more fun to your obstacle course but also makes the laws of physics visible to the child during play.

The set contains over a dozen pieces that complement the Gecko Run starter set: additional marbles, nano-adhesive pads, two extra tracks, and much more. The tracks attach to smooth surfaces using smart nano-adhesive pads that stick to smooth, vertical surfaces in the house, such as windows, mirrors, doors, walls, refrigerators, or cabinets.

The system is designed to be mess-free: the pads are not adhesive-based and can be repositioned quickly and easily, without leaving behind damage or sticky residue. With its open-ended design, the components can be positioned in infinite configurations on smooth surfaces, so the child can reinvent the course every time they play with it.

From an educational perspective, the kit develops engineering and problem-solving skills and exemplifies physics in action. The tracks are made from renewable raw materials, and the product is made of plastic. The recommended age is 8 years and up, and the product was manufactured in Germany for Thames & Kosmos, England.
