The Joie i-Traver Signature Sandstone car seat is designed for children between 100 and 150 cm tall, which corresponds roughly to the age of 3.5 to 12 years. It is used in a forward-facing position and is installed either using the car's 3-point seat belt or the ISOFIX system. The seat features side-impact protection and an extra belt for ISOFIX installation.
Installation is easy and effortless thanks to the color-coded ISOFIX connectors that indicate when the seat is installed correctly. This ensures you cannot make a mistake when mounting the seat. The ISOFIX connectors are retractable and adjustable for quick and easy connection. On an i-Size car seat bench, up to 3 i-Traver seats can fit, and the seat is lightweight and easy to move from one car to another.
Side-impact protection is provided by the Tri-Protect™ headrest, which offers extra safety due to its three layers of protection with patented Intelli-Fit™ memory foam. The seat is also equipped with detachable Guard Surround Safety™ side panels to add extra space. The headrest is height-adjustable in 10 positions with one hand to perfectly adapt to the child's height, regardless of their age or size.
Comfort is completed by the AutoAdjust system for adjusting the seat depth in 3 positions and the 2-position reclining backrest, featuring a comfortable sleeping position. The armrests are padded with comfortable materials, and the covers are removable and machine washable. The car seat is made of soft and comfortable materials, suitable for long trips with your little one.
