The Joie i-Bold Shale car seat is designed for children between 76 and 150 cm and accompanies your little one from approximately 15 months to 12 years old.
The seat can be used in two ways. In Forward Facing mode with the 5-point harness, it is intended for children between 76 and 105 cm, weighing up to 22 kg, which is from approximately 15 months to 4 years old. In Booster mode, using the vehicle's seat belt, it covers the 100-150 cm range, up to 36 kg, approximately from 3.5 to 12 years old. The special Harness Hideaway compartment stores the 5-point harness when the seat is used as a booster.
Installation is quick and easy thanks to the ISOFIX connectors with Top Tether, and when the Top Tether is not in use, the strap can be stored on the back of the seat. The seat can also be installed using the 3-point vehicle seat belt when in booster mode. The installation paths are clearly marked in green, making assembly very simple. The side-impact protection is detachable and is placed on the side of the seat facing the car window, providing extra safety for the head, body, and hips.
The Grow Together system simultaneously adjusts the headrest and harness with ease. The headrest can be adjusted with one hand and is height-adjustable in 12 distinct positions, and the seat features three adjustable recline positions. The stylish design with ventilation helps regulate temperature so the child's skin can breathe even on hot days. The seat is equipped with removable inserts as the baby grows, has a detachable cup or snack holder, and the covers are removable and machine washable.
