Djeco Ze Faces educational game, 27 wooden pieces, animal portraits, 3-6 years

The Ze Faces educational game from Djeco offers six wooden animal portraits, each cut into three horizontal pieces that can be combined freely or according to the patterns in the cards. The mechanism is simple, and the possible results are surprising, as each face can be reassembled in countless ways. The set includes 27 wooden pieces and 10 double-sided cards with patterns that guide the child step by step.

The 6 animal portraits are composed of 3 superimposed pieces each, which are thick and easy for small hands to handle. The 20 progressive patterns lead the child from exact reproduction of a portrait to free combinations, where they invent their own animals by mixing the top, middle, and bottom parts. The difficulty increases with the child through the 3 included levels.

By handling the pieces and matching them according to the cards, the game develops spatial orientation and shape recognition. At the same time, it trains observation, dexterity, and coordination, which are important qualities at preschool age. The thick pieces are designed for small fingers, and the double-sided cards offer multiple play options for the same box.

The product is made of wood and cardboard and is manufactured by Djeco in France. It is recommended for children aged 3 to 6. Thus, the parent can accompany the child in exploring the 20 patterns and can guide them toward increasingly advanced levels as they gain skill.
