Djeco GeoBasic educational game, 3 years+, sorting and matching, wood and metal, magnetic

Djeco GeoBasic educational game is a wooden magnetic game designed to create 16 different animals using colorful magnetic pieces. Children place the animals shown on the pattern cards onto the metal board, using the illustrated wooden pieces to reconstruct each figure. It is a sorting and matching game that combines free play with following a pattern.

The set contains a 30 x 30 cm metal board made of wood and metal, 24 illustrated wooden magnetic pieces, and 8 double-sided cards. The board has a slot at the top where the pattern cards can be inserted, so the little one always has the image they are reconstructing in front of them. The magnetic pieces remain fixed to the metal surface, which helps the child work in an organized manner.

The game proposes two levels of difficulty: in the first level, children create animals of the same color, following the model, and in the second level, they can make silly animals by mixing colors, according to their own imagination. This transition from reproduction to free creation supports the recognition of geometric shapes, color association, and hand-eye coordination.

GeoBasic is made of wood, metal, and magnet. WARNING: use under the direct supervision of an adult. The product is manufactured by Djeco in France and is recommended for children from 2 years old, suitable for age groups 18 months - 3 years and 3 - 6 years.
