Djeco Educational Game 1234Basic wooden puzzle with shapes and colors 18 months

The 1234Basic educational game from Djeco is a wooden puzzle designed for very young children, from 18 months and up, who are taking their first steps in recognizing shapes and colors. The child places the pieces onto the rounded rods and matches them by shape, color, and size, thus practicing hand-eye coordination in a guided and safe way.

The set includes four animals to experiment with: a snail, a turtle, a chick, and a ladybug. Each animal gives the child the opportunity to explore different sizes, varied colors, and distinct shapes, turning every play session into a small lesson about the world around them. Through repetition and trial, the little one discovers on their own how the pieces fit onto the rods.

The pieces are made of wood and finished with paint. These elements make it suitable for small children's hands, as they explore objects through touch and play. The light weight of the set, at 0.3 kg, makes it easy to handle and place on a table or the floor during play.

The game is produced by Djeco in France and is part of the sorting and matching toys category, a good choice for developing fine motor skills and logical thinking at an early preschool age. Experimenting with and learning about sizes, colors, shapes, and animals is supported by a simple and intuitive design that encourages the child to try again until they succeed.
