BIBS Supreme Latex Pacifier with symmetrical natural latex nipple, for 6 months +
BIBS Supreme pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with multiple holes that allow for air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, use the napkin to press the nipple until the water is removed.
