BIBS Supreme pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex: an elastic and soft material, similar in texture to a mother's breast. The Mauve version features a symmetrical nipple, recommended from 0 months and suitable up to 6 months, adapted to the baby's oral cavity.

The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that provides comfort during soothing sucking. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin.

The shield is made of PP and designed with multiple holes that allow air circulation. This construction helps the skin around the baby's mouth breathe and limits moisture accumulation.

Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers should NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is removed. Replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
