BIBS Supreme Latex Pacifier symmetrical nipple 0 months+ Dusky Lilac 100% natural latex PP shield
The BIBS Supreme Latex pacifier in the Dusky Lilac shade is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The symmetrical nipple takes the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is suitable from 0 months.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with multiple holes that allow air to circulate around the contact area.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solutions.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it, and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, use the paper towel to squeeze the nipple until the water is expelled. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
