BIBS Supreme Latex Pacifier with symmetrical natural latex nipple, PP shield, 0 months+
BIBS Supreme pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined to produce latex - an elastic and soft material, similar in texture to a mother's breast.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with multiple holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is removed.
