BIBS Studio Colour Flower Latex Pacifier Sage, round nipple, 0 months+, 100% natural latex
The BIBS Studio Colour Flower pacifier in Sage is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple mimics the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is recommended from 0 months.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, and the material is 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. This shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air to circulate around the child's mouth.
Pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Since latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Proper sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through its valve, use the napkin to press the nipple until the water is removed. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
