BIBS Studio Colour Flower Latex Pacifier Fossil Grey round teat 0 months + 100% natural latex
The BIBS Studio Colour Flower Latex pacifier in Fossil Grey is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex and has a round shape, suitable for babies from 0 months old.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thereby conforming to the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain proper hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean cloth and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, use the cloth to press the nipple until the water is expelled. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
