The BIBS Studio Colour Flower Latex pacifier has a round nipple made of 100% natural latex, a material obtained from the sap of the rubber tree (hevea). The refined latex is elastic and soft, with a texture similar to a mother's breast, which helps the baby adapt easily.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus taking on the natural shape of the oral cavity. The flexible shield around the nipple is slightly concave to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing the pacifier after 4-6 weeks of use.
