Product code: DELUXLATEXGLOW2
BIBS De Lux Glow Pacifier with natural rubber round nipple, 6 months+
The BIBS De Lux Glow Latex pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex—an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The Glow version is phosphorescent, making the pacifier easier to find in the dark. The teat is round-shaped and recommended for babies from 6 months onwards.
The pacifier's teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, adopting the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The teat is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with multiple holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through its valve, use the paper towel to press the teat until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing the pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
