BIBS De Lux Glow Latex Glow-in-the-dark pacifier, round nipple, 0 months+, natural latex
BIBS De Lux pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex - a soft, elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The Glow version is phosphorescent, and the nipple has a round shape.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with multiple holes that allow for air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl; pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes; remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is removed.
