BIBS Colour Glow Latex Glow-in-the-dark pacifier, round teat, PP shield, 6 months + made of latex
The BIBS Colour Glow pacifier is made of latex, a material derived from the sap of the rubber tree (hevea). The sap is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast.
The round nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, mimicking the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of natural latex. The shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and has multiple holes that allow for air circulation.
Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or sterilizing solution. Sterilization involves three steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is expelled.
