BIBS Colour GLOW Pacifier, round teat, 0 months+, Cloud, natural latex
The BIBS Colour GLOW pacifier is made of latex, a natural material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material that is similar in texture to a mother's breast. The phosphorescent GLOW version in the Cloud shade helps parents find the pacifier more easily in the dark, without the need to turn on the lights during the night.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the oral cavity. The round teat is made of 100% natural latex, a material that closely mimics the sensation of breastfeeding. This shape is designed to support the baby's comfort during daily use.
The flexible disc around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow for air circulation. This limits the accumulation of moisture and irritation in the area around the mouth when the pacifier is used frequently.
Good hygiene involves frequent cleaning of the pacifier, and the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect it from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it, and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through the valve, press the teat with the towel until the water is removed.
