BIBS Colour GLOW Pacifier, round teat, latex, Black, 0 months+, natural latex
The BIBS Colour GLOW pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, an elastic and soft material that is similar in texture to a mother's breast. The GLOW version is phosphorescent, a useful feature at night. The nipple is round and is recommended for babies from 0 months, with the available size being 0-6 months.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers should NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean paper towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, squeeze the nipple with the paper towel until the water is expelled. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
