BIBS De Lux Pacifier Latex round teat 6 months + Sage 100% natural latex
The BIBS De Lux pacifier is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex and is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with multiple holes that allow for air circulation. This construction helps maintain the comfort of the delicate skin around the mouth during daily use of the pacifier.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Since latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
